Relax during your dental visit.

Relax during your dental visit.

Stop Putting Off Dental Visits!

Dental anxieties and phobias vary widely, with each person experiencing their own unique fears. Dental anxiety often manifests as mild to moderate worry and apprehension about upcoming procedures. In contrast, dental phobia is more severe, characterized by an intense, irrational fear of dental work that can sometimes lead individuals to avoid seeking care altogether.

We’re here to ensure you feel relaxed and at ease during your visit.

We offer a range of sedation options to make most dental procedures comfortable and stress-free. With careful preparation, Dr. Kueckels provides various sedation methods to ensure you remain relaxed and anxiety-free throughout your visit.

What our patients are saying

Things you might be wondering about the sedation methods we offer

At The DentisTree, we offer two main types of sedation: oral sedation and nitrous oxide sedation. Oral sedation involves taking a prescribed medication before your appointment to help you feel relaxed and calm. Nitrous oxide sedation, also known as laughing gas, is administered through a mask that you breathe in during the procedure, helping you stay comfortable and at ease.

Oral sedation at The DentisTree involves taking a sedative medication in pill form before your appointment. This medication helps you feel relaxed and less anxious about your dental procedure. You may feel drowsy, and time may seem to pass quickly. It’s important to have someone drive you to and from your appointment, as the effects of the medication can linger for a few hours.

Nitrous oxide sedation, or laughing gas, is a quick-acting and adjustable form of sedation that is inhaled through a mask placed over your nose. It helps you feel relaxed and comfortable during the procedure, and its effects wear off rapidly once the gas is turned off. Unlike oral sedation, which can take longer to take effect and wear off, nitrous oxide allows you to return to your normal activities almost immediately after your visit.
